Deborah Henry in Melinda Looi Couture

by Melinda Looi on July 07, 2017

It’s been 4 months since Deborah Henry tied the knot with Dr Rajiv and the beauty that veiled the ceremony still lingers in our memories. It was a two-day event held in Udaipur, India and the former beauty queen wore her lengha designed by Melinda Looi Couture during the morning wedding ceremony.

Deborah’s intricate pink shantung silk lengha was hand-embroidered by Melinda Looi Couture. The embroidery took around 3 weeks to finish while the whole piece was done within 3 months – which included decision making and changes to the design as well. The lengha skirt weighs about 10kg as there are tonnes of layers underneath the skirt and it is available for viewing at our Bangsar showroom.
